Sarva mangala mangalye shive sarvaartha saadhike Sharanye trayambake Gauri Narayani namosthute MHT invites the all Community members and Families for the Diwali Shri Lakshmi Pooja and Shri Durga Mata Jaladhivasam Utsav on Wednesday 7thNovember, 2018. Let us all celebrate this traditional "Diwali", the "Festival of Lights" and offer our prayers to Goddess Lakshmi.We are also celebrating Shri Durga Mata Jaladhivasam Utsav as the first step towards the Prana Pratishtha. During the Jaladhivasam, Shri Durga Mata diety is completely immersed in water in reclining position. This is done to emphasize a centrality of water in the Vedas. Our Priest Pradeep Sharma Ji from Boston will perform the Pooja. Please join and take the blessings of Shri Lakshmi Mata and Shri Durga Mata.The following are the steps before the Prana Pratishtha. Shri Durga Mata Jaladhivasam Utsav Shri Durga Mata Dhanyadhivasam Utsav Shri Durga Mata Sayanadhivasam Utsav Shri Durga Mata Pushpadivasam Utsav Shri Durga Mata Kumbhabhishekam and Prana Pratishtha Utsav Program Details (11/07/2018) 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pooja Preparations 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Shri Durga Mata Jaladhivasam Utsav. Following Poojas will be performed during the Jaladhivasam. Ganesha Pooja, Kalasha Pooja, Punyahavachanam, Durga Mata Avahanam 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM  Shri Lakshmi Devi – Diwali Pooja. 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM  Aarti followed by Prasadam distribution Sponsorship for Shri Durga Mata Jaladhivasam : Grand sponsorship for the ALL Utsav events including Prana Pratishtha - $1116 Sponsorship for Individual Utsav events - $251 *Multiple sponsors can contribute for the above sponsorships. Sponsorship for Diwali Lakshmi Pooja: Archana - $21 Lighting up Diyas per Family - $15 Lakshmi Pooja Grand Sponsorship - $116 All community members are welcome and encouraged to participate in the event. All the devotees are encouraged to bring flowers, fruits and prasad for the event. MHT needs volunteers for the this event to arrange the Pooja items, preparation of flower garlands, Prasad distribution and cleaning. Navratri Celebrations – 2018

Maine Hindu Temple invites the community members to celebrate Navratri Festival which is from October 9th to October 18th of 2018.  Temple is Open from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM on all the Navratri Days. Nav                 On the Day 1 of Navratri, we will perform Kalasha Sthapana followed by Pooja, Bhajans, Nivedyam and Aarti. MHT will sponsor the Day 1 celebrations.  All the remaining days will have Pooja, Bhajans, Nivedyam and Aarti. On this auspicious occasion, MHT is requesting the community members to sign up for sponsoring the remaining Navratri days and bring their friends and families for an evening of worship and Bhajans. Devotees are encouraged to bring Prasad & flowers for the daily Navratri Bhajan events. Nav2 Program Details for Navratri: 6:00 pm - Deeparadhana, Pooja & Bhajans 7:00 pm - Aarti 7:30 pm - Dandiya Ras & Garba 8:30 pm - Prasad Distribution 9.00 pm - Cleanup We are looking forward to seeing you at Navratri festival. MHT needs volunteers to support and organize the Navratri Festival. Durga Mata Idol

MHT is very excited to announce new addition of Goddess Durga Mata idol to our Temple. As shown in the below picture, Goddess Idol has been prepared in marble exclusively for MHT and being shipped as of sending this email. We will secure auspicious dates in discussing with a Priest to perform Goddess Durga Mata Prana Pratishtha Utsav and Abhishekam in the coming days. We need sponsorship and support from the community to install Goddess Durga Mata. The estimated expenses to do the Prana Pratishtha of the Goddess Durga Mata are: Shipping Idol from India                    - $1000 Building the dais for the new idol        - $1500 Prana Pratishtha expenses                 - $4000 Daily expenses for 2 years`               - $7000 MHT will send more details about the upcoming events of Goddess Durga Mata Prana Pratishtha Utsav and Abhishekam as and when it is available. In the meanwhile, MHT is looking for sponsorship and volunteers MHT encourages community members to do seva in any one of the below form
  • Open the temple on a daily basis
  • Help off load Idol from shipping company on a short notice
  • Help build the dais
  • Generously donate towards this auspicious event of bringing Goddess Durga Mata to MHT
