Maine Hindu Temple is arranging a Samoohika Sai Paaduka Pooja as a part of a Historic Sai Paduka Yatra all around the United States undertaken by Sai Datta Peetham (SDP).   As part of this Akhanda Paaduka Seva Yatra the SDP is meeting devotees across the country in order to spread the Sai Thatvam and also providing an opportunity to the devotees to conduct this Holy Event in their respective houses by inviting Baba Paadukas to their houses. In this process, Sai Datta Peetham (SDP) kindly request's all the community members to host, Baba Paaduka Pooja in their home or community in such a way SDP can reach many Baba devotees and so far 70,000 devotees taken part in this Holy Event. The Peetham Founder- Raghu Sankaramanchi fondly called as Raghuji (Formerly served in Vijayawada, Dilsukhnagar Baba temple, NY, NJ Baba temples) along with two other priests and Peetham volunteers are taking Baba Padukas on a 'Rath' (RV) to devotee’s places all across North America. In this event, every interested individual will get an opportunity to participate in Baba Paaduka Pooja. • Annadanam:  Take initiative to arrange, come up with a menu and provide traditional festival Indian Anna Prasadam to all devotees
• Fundraising: Come up with an innovative fundraising idea, canvas, communicate and reach out MHT community for raising funds to the Shri SaiBaba Kumbhabhisekam, Prana Pratishtha Utsav, Shri Sai Padaam and Annadanam
• Event Organizer: Organize event material, decorate and priest to make an event successful
• Building Maintenance: Need volunteers who can identify and coordinates with volunteer and vendor external

MHT will provide necessary support, guidance, and material to these committee. We are looking volunteers for the above committees and appreciate signing up as soon as possible. Maine Hindu Temple will be celebrating Shri SaiBaba Sayanadhivasam Utsav as the next step towards Shri SaiBaba Kumbhabhisekam and Prana Pratishtha Utsav.  Shri Sai Baba’s murthy is placed in a reclining position for this ritual. Shayana means bed. This bed is made up of multiple layers such as Paddy, Rice, Gingelly, Mustard and Dharbha. A ghada or khadi type of cloth is spread between each layer. The topmost layer is a silk cloth. Dwadhasha and Sribeeja Mantras are chanted. Program details for 6th Sep : 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm Shri SaiBaba Sayanadhivasam Utsav. Following Pooja will be performed during Shri SaiBaba Sayanadhivasam Utsav.
